10 Easy Time-Management Tips for a More Fulfilling Day

- Keep a schedule — Take control of your time and adjust to your ideal day.
- Adjust to You — If your day is not fun, not energizing, not productive, then change some things. Your ideal schedule and day are yours.
- 5 More Minutes — Push yourself to always do 5 more minutes of anything productive you are doing.
- Run Everywhere you Go — This is a sign of a packed day and one of motivation and seriousness. If you feel you have to run everywhere you go it likely means you are serious about your commitments and about the 24 hours in your day.
- Set Reminders — On your phone set 3–10 alarms at random times throughout the day asking “Why am I doing what I am doing?” to get you focused back on where you are.
- Take effective Breaks — As mentioned in #2, you want to keep your days fun and energizing. This means taking active breaks, enjoying some hobbies and having something to look forward to every day.
- One thing at a Time — Whatever you are doing now is what you are doing. The rest can wait. Do not let that clog your mind.
- Important & Uncomfortable things First — Get those out of the way quickly. Do not do the other things until you have done the things you dread doing the most.
- Invest in the Moment — You are doing what you are doing, you chose to do this now, so you might as well try to enjoy it. If you actively invest into the moment you can often draw far more out of it.
- Just Do It — Don’t think too hard about it. Screw it, get up, and do what you need to do.
