10 Tips to Maximally Utilize Your Brain

- Keep your body in top shape. Your brain needs oxygen and a fit and healthy immune system just like the rest of your body. The mind is part of the body and will suffer and grow in accordance with it.
- Drink a lot of water & eat healthy. 20% of what you put into your body gets used by the brain, even though it only weighs about 2% of your body-weight it uses 20% of the energy. (How much energy does the brain use?) Water is the core of this, as your brain thrives and dies on the amount of Oxygen. More water means faster and more efficient Oxygen Transportation.
- Make more connections. You cannot build many more neurons but you can make significantly more connections with existing neurons. The neurons you do create often serve as lynchpins of new information, but it it’s the connections that make your brain thrive.
- Use your senses as triggers. When you work/study in the same location, listening to the same music or smelling the same things you will have an easier time remembering what you did the next time because your senses link up with information very well. Remember that your brain connects everything, including sound, smell, taste, feel and looks, to information. You can use this to your advantage!
