  1. Become A Master At Something — When you master any skill or become phenomenal at something you do you will have something to fall back upon should your self esteem be hurt.
  2. Do Something That Scares You — Beat an old fear, forgive an old enemy, apologize for inflicting past wounds. Doing what scares you proves that you are stronger than the fear.
  3. Stand Up For Something — Stand up for a person in public or go against the flow in some way. Be the first to act, try to take initiative or leadership, and stop waiting to react.
  4. Completely Drain Yourself — Do this either physically or mentally by spending so much of your energy that you truly cannot do any more. Only do this every once in a while though, as you will need some time to recharge.
  5. Push Your Limits — When you exercise, do one more set. When you are working, stay focused for 10 more minutes. When you are about to go to bed, do one more thing. Push your own limits a little bit each day to prove to you that you can do more than you think you can.
  6. Live Every Day As Best As You Can — Each day lived well is another day you can add to the positives when you think back upon your life.
