The important part to planning a great day is lots of Trial and Error.
You have to figure out what your personal balanced recipe looks like to figure out how you can get the most out of each day.
At what time do you get up? What do you do after getting up? What is your best morning routine? When do you work best? For how long? What do you do in your breaks?
The first step to planning a great day is to plan a day fully.
It will not be the ideal day, in fact, you will likely either completely overburden yourself or guess completely wrong on how much you think you can get done and what happens in the day.
