- You Have Time — You do not need to know what you want to do in life right now. It is okay to be lost. Go with what sounds best and be willing to change your mind.
- Do Or Don’t — Sure, you can blame the world, reason your way out of it, and justify all you want, but at the end of the day either you did the work or you didn’t.
- Find Smarter People Than Yourself — Never be the smartest person in the room. Being the smartest person in the room means you reached the end and it flattens your growth.
- Stop Chasing Happiness — Happiness will come and go, but it will always be a byproduct of other things. Focus your attention on better things and happiness will come.
- Everything Will Change — Nothing ever stays the same. You will change, your friends will change, and the world will change. Learn to adapt and accept rather than to force and demand.
- Negative Events Teach The Most — In hindsight it’s always the worst moments of your life that will be the catalysts to the best times. Keep that in mind so you do not fight the crap when it comes but so that you take it in, learn from it and let it be the catalyst for brighter days.
