13 Quick & Easy Steps To Build Any Habit

- Write it down.
- Track it every day (successful and non-successful).
- Start this minute, ignore what happened yesterday and do not rely on tomorrow.
- Set yourself a time limit to finish the habit by. Then do it until then even if your reason disappears.
- Make it simple and quick. 5 Minutes minimum so that you have no excuses and can do it every single day with No Exceptions.
- Find a reason FOR doing it, not against doing it.
- Compare only against yourself. Get better/more consistent than you were before.
- Get someone to hold you accountable (or multiple people if you can).
- Start fresh. Never make up for missing the day before. What’s lost is lost.
- Count the hits, not the misses. You want to get as many hits in as possible throughout the year, month, week and/or day.
- Treat it like an oath. Your word is binding, especially if no one knows about it.
- Know what you will sacrifice for this habit. Everything comes at a price.
- Value yourself enough to go through with it. This is for you.
