  1. There Is No Timeline — You are done with a huge leg of your journey, but you still have a lot a lot of life to live. You don’t have to get the house, the job, the family right away. There is no timeline by which you need to accomplish certain things. It’s your life and you can do things in any order you want, at any time, or not at all.
  2. Small Steps Matter More Than Big Ones — This is especially true for reaching financial freedom. Do a little every day and soon you won’t have to worry about anything.
  3. 30/30/30/10–30% of your earnings should go to your living expenses, 30% to living life, 30% should be invested, and 10% given to charity. This is a rule of thumb and should be adapted to fit your needs.
  4. Learn To Sell — Every job interview is you trying to sell your time, every date you trying to sell your heart, and every argument with yourself is you trying to sell your energy. If you learn how to sell well you can win in all of these.
    Remember that Emotions sell, to always aim for a win-win situation, and to keep their bigger picture in mind.
  5. Take The Risk — If you are contemplating doing it then do it. If it is too risky you wouldn’t even give it the time of day, meaning if you are contemplating it what’s holding you back is just your thoughts.
