- Don’t Think — Contemplating what you would rather do instead, realizing this is not what you wan to do, seeing all the word that is still before you, and every other thought disrupts your work flow. If you want to get actual work done then leave your thoughts for later.
- Focus On What Is In Front Of You Only — Leave thoughts of tomorrow for later, and thoughts of yesterday then. Of course you can do more tomorrow or could have done more yesterday, but today is today. Make the most out of what you have now.
- Listen To Motivational Or Inspirational Music — Sounds simple enough, but make sure it actually motivates you. Thomas Bergersen is my personal favorite.
- Watch Motivational Videos — Take a break, watch 1–2 motivational videos, then get back to work. It works wonders.
- Drink Some Water & Stretch — Take a minute to get your blood pumping again; you’ve probably been sitting for far too long anyway.
- Set Up Triggers That Remind You Of Your ‘Why’ — Keep motivating posters and/or sticky-notes everywhere around your work. It will put your excuses back into perspective and remind you of why you should keep going.
