2 Things You Need To Know When You Lack Motivation
#1 You do NOT need any Motivation.
Stop giving motivation so much credit. If you want to do this stuff, why aren’t you?
Motivation is just an emotion. Just like happiness, sadness, anger or excitement it is something that comes and goes.
But you do not rely and wait on any other emotion, so why do it for Motivation?
How entitled is it to think that you can only better yourself when you feel like it? I mean, when else do we do that?
No one goes to their boss saying “I do not feel like working today” or goes to their husband/wife saying “I do not feel like being married to you today”.
Yet, when it comes to your own improvement you say “I will only work on myself if I feel like it. Every other time I will just not do anything at all.”
How ridiculous is that?
Get over yourself.
Besides, right now you are motivated to do something.
You’re motivated to spend time on social media or doing nothing at all.
So you aren’t even lacking in motivation, you are just misusing it.
That being said, if you want to get outside your comfort zone then what you must do is commit to it.
