  1. Cooking — Even if it is just a few decent meals.
  2. Scheduling — Taking control of the 24 hours you have takes control of your entire life.
  3. Laughter — Especially the ability to laugh at oneself and at one’s own life.
  4. Complimenting — It opens the door to charisma and most genuinely deep connections.
  5. Honesty — Honesty with yourself, especially, is the quickest way to a better life.
  6. Persistence — Too many people give up too soon and too easily.
  7. Courage — Life is always scary. Nothing worth having comes without fear.
  8. Optimism — With how much life throws at us, seeing the silver lining is a tremendously beneficial skill.
  9. Active Listening — We all need someone who cares enough to actually listen.
  10. Acceptance — Life is what it is. The sooner you accept this the sooner you can move on to something worth staying for.
  11. Bounciness — Bounce back fast and get back in life so you do not miss anything.
  12. Comedy — Life does not have to be that serious and a bit of joking goes a long way.
  13. Openness — We are all wrong at times. It takes a lot to admit that and to remain open.
  14. Perspective — The world has enough people who think only about themselves.
  15. Solidarity — If you do not like your own company, how do you expect others to?
  16. Saying “No”It’s important not to leave yourself behind.
  17. Saying “Yes”But it’s also important not to miss out on life.
  18. Setting Boundaries — Healthy, necessary boundaries require confrontations no one wants to make. The ones that do are always better of.
  19. Being Present — Letting loose after work, focusing only on work while at work, and being where you are when you are there.
  20. Letting Go — If it is not relevant in this moment, then it is not relevant.
