5 Important Tips To Getting Your First Customer

- Getting Attention — Without any attention no one will even know about the product or service is. When no one knows, no one has a chance to buy. This means, as a new business, you must get attention somewhere. Often the best way to start is to give some free value or spend money marketing. Sales, Events, Pamphlets, Advertisements, Promotions, etc.
- Serving one Person specifically — Focus all your attention on the one potential client and serving them until they are 110% satisfied. You may lose some early traction by doing this, but quality over quantity will eventually become a second nature. When it does you can speed up the quality process. I promise you you will reap far more rewards this way.
- “Spray and Pray” — This is a military term for firing with an inaccurate weapon. You just point it, shoot, and hope it lands a hit. Businesses can do that too by being everywhere and hoping they catch something. This requires MASSIVE amounts of work and is HIGHLY inefficient, but it does work. If you get 100,000 people on the line, chances are at least one of them will buy something. (This is not recommended for starting businesses. At the beginning go with #2 instead.)
