5 Ways To Speed Up Your Learning

5 min readMay 3, 2025

1. Spend more time Learning. Simple, yet effective. The reason Fortune 500 CEOs get so much more done than the rest of us is not only because they have more time or because they can use their time more efficiently. We always get stuck in the belief that they must know the secret or they must have broken the system in some way they won’t share with the rest of the world.

But they don’t. No matter how much you twist and turn it, they also only have 24 hours in a day, just like we do. The only difference is that they use their 24 hours better than we do! Of course their financial freedom gives them even more time, but you will be hard pressed to find many spending that extra free time in front of the TV or playing video games. Most of them use their time more effectively than that.

They fill their schedules so they run everywhere they go and while we may think that would be too busy a life, it actually ends up giving people more happiness in the long term.

So… How do you learn more? You do more! To find that time you may have to sacrifice some of your other activities, but the sacrifices you have to make are mainly things that are time wasters now anyway. In doing so you will seem to be a faster learner, for even if you just do 10 more minutes a day, that will carry a lot of weight in the long run.
