  1. Don’t Leave Your Distractions Unattended — Have a notepad next to you on which you give everything that comes in a time and place to distract you, making it a one time distraction and not something that continuously robs your focus.
    - For example: If you suddenly remember you still need to send an E-mail today, then immediately write down an exact time at which you will do it on that notepad (Ex: 7:35 p.m. — Send E-mail).
    - Put that time in your calendar, or set an alarm, and then get back to work.
    - This puts it out of your mind and clears your mind to concentrate on other things.
  2. Get So Busy You Cannot Afford To Lose Concentration — Fill your calendar to the brim; NO EMPTY SPACES! It may sound crazy, but you do everything that you absolutely have to do.
    - I mean, how often did you end up finishing a school project too late at night or too early in the morning?
    - We do what we have to do. Which is why we do not miss flights, get to work on time, and finish the projects we feel we must, even if they are rushed.
  3. Turn Your Chair Around — Every time you need a break do a 180° turn with your chair (or stand up and turn it around if it doesn’t swivel). Then observe the room for 45s — 60s and relax. Turn around again afterwards and get back to work.
    - This is all the the time you need to relax and re-focus…
