  1. Take a walk — Getting some fresh air in the early morning can really charge you. Ideally you do this either before 6 a.m. or in Nature.
  2. Meditate — 10 Minutes in the morning to get into the right mindset. Alternatives can include: Affirmations, Positive Self-Talk or Uplifting Song & Dance.
  3. Finish the scariest thing — Fight the Lion straight away, for it will only get scarier the more you think about the fight.
  4. Go back to bed — After having done some thing (ideally being productive for at least 2 hours) you can take a nap or go back to bed. Do this only if you are truly tired but do not be afraid to do it after you have done something. Remember that your sleep is important!
  5. Break a sweat — Get your blood pumping, your oxygen circulating and start the day off strong physically.
  6. Read — The alternative, or addition, to doing the scariest thing first and breaking a sweat is challenging your mind. Read for a bit, but try to make it something productive or informative at least; this will likely set a better start for the day.
  7. Eat a Full & Healthy Breakfast — Especially if you have already worked hard in the morning it is important to get yourself something that actually gives you energy. Do not skip out on breakfast!

The 7 habits above are very generic habits, but habits that can change your life nonetheless.

They may not make the biggest change in the world, but they have the potential to facilitate an amazing day and therefore a huge change.

That being said, if you truly want to change your life to what you want it to be, then the only habits you should focus on, morning or not, are the habits that directly affect your goals..

If you want to be a writer then write early, if you want to be a painter then paint. Do what actually moves you forward!

Remember that all other habits, as good as they are, do not replace the big things you must do.

If you truly want to change your life you must do what matters most first.
