8 Steps To A Successful Morning

- Fresh Air — As soon as you get up, go outside. 5 Minutes is enough but if you make it 10–15 you find yourself much more recharged. Going to a lake or into the woods is even better. 5 Minutes for a quick boost, 10 minutes average, 15 if you have a bit more time and want the world to slow down.
- Cardio/Workout — Contrary to what you may believe spending energy early is the best way to get the blood pumping and gain energy for the day ahead.
- Goals/Visualization — Remind yourself very quickly and intentionally about why you even woke up today. What is your life all for? What are you hoping to gain? Why do you do what you do? Set the Inspiration early so it carries you through whatever may come.
- Work — Energy: Check. Inspiration: Check. Now is the best time to deal with the hardest, most challenging, and biggest thing you plan to do today. Knock it out early and before your mind has time to wake up enough to talk you out of it. Do the hardest thing of the day as soon as you can.
- Shower Cold vs. Hot — There are benefits to both, so it depends on where you are in the day at this point and what is still ahead for you. Generally speaking, Cold Showers are better for your stress levels while hot showers are better for your blood flow and soreness.
- Light Breakfast — Ideally you want to get a lot of…
