  1. Being Very Observant Of Others. The more you analyze people as a whole the more you will realize that most people have certain mannerisms that you can use for and/or against them.
Social Psychology is your best friend here. There is scientific research on a lot of the social aspects that fill our daily lives. Just knowing about them is enough to further your knowledge and use it.
  2. Act Like They Are The Most Important Thing In Your World Right Now. Whenever you are in a conversation with someone you should treat them like the most important thing in the world. Right now your time belongs to them.
Behaving that way towards someone makes them feel secure and like they matter, establishing a deep connection between you two. Give them the unparalleled value of your undivided attention for however long you are with them and they will feel like valued, appreciated and like they mean something to you.
  3. Always Agree First. This is a basic rule of selling that every great salesperson knows by heart. When a person agrees with you they are selling their point of view to you. Even if they later say they do not agree 100%, at first they made you think you were completely right. This opened you up to whatever point they made next and made everything they said sound reasonable and gave you the feeling of improving your ideas, because you didn’t have to fight for them at all.
