The action of grabbing another chocolate bar is supported by our bodies desire to stack up on calories and fat, for which it will reward us positively with both taste and endorphins.

Watching another episode of our favorite show on Netflix keeps us safely in our home, conserving energy and entertains our mind by forgetting all the things that cause us stress.

Every Bad Habit is made easier through millions of years of evolution that we have to fight through in order to establish good habits.

We have to remember that we have not long yet been at a stage…

  1. Wake up at the same time — Weekends, Holidays, Birthdays included. Regardless of when you went to bed. Your body will eventually let you know if you get too little sleep.
  2. Start Strong — The first 2 hours of your day set a tone for the rest of it. Get something big done right away and you will set an amazing one.
  3. Listen to an Audiobook/Read a Book on your commute — Make the most out of the boring time and learn something.

Sure, there is the claim that Michael Phelps, for example, has double the lung-capacity of most humans, which has been disproven.

And while he does have some physical advantages, like longer arms and shorter legs, while being tall, so does everybody else he is competing against!

Do you ever feel like there is something missing in your life? Like the zest to it all just isn’t there anymore?

I know I did. For the longest time I wish I could have gone back to that freedom I had back then.

To times where I was running around outside without a care in the world, times I fell flat on my face, and the times none of that bothered me.

Your comfort zone is not this giant, magical, box that you have to force yourself out of with one big shove to be forever free of.

The whole concept of doing 1 truly uncomfortable thing to get you comfortable with it is dumb.

But that does not mean coming out of your comfort zone is complex; it’s actually quite simple, as long as you do it one step at a time and stay consistent.

It’s the practice over time that changes your comfort zone, not the one giant step that breaks it completely; which many people seem to get confused…

  1. Take Naps — If they still need to produce but they absolutely cannot stay awake they will take a nap in the middle of the day. Usually this is anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. If they need more time 90 minutes is needed as otherwise you will wake up during a deep sleep phase.

  1. Improve A Skill — Learn something new and improve upon it. There must be some skills you have not mastered yet that you always wanted to. Stick with one of these skills for an hour a day for thirty days and see what happens.
  2. Challenge yourself — Go outside and talk to strangers, train for a marathon or try some comfort zone challenges. Anything that gets you out and into some new situations.
  3. Beat A Limiting Belief — Ask yourself what it is that you think is true about yourself that limits you and then try your best to fight…

  1. Define Your Goals — What do they specifically mean to you? Just saying you want to be rich and famous is not good enough. Make it so clear it forms an image or a scene in your head. We all have different goals. Stop waiting for others to define your goals for you.
  2. Set Up A Clear Line — Make an objective line by which you can measure your success. What do you need to achieve precisely and exactly to be able to say you reached that goal? How else do you know when you are successful?

If you look back at your own life you will likely have found that every person in it taught you something.
