A Few Great Things That Are Too Short-Lived

  • No Traffic — Somehow, this seems to be a rare occurrence regardless of where you live, and something you get to enjoy only for a few moments before a car creeps up behind you or a truck appears in front of you.
  • Eating Fast Food — The taste that fills your mouth as you sink your teeth into that burger is amazing. The stomach ache, regret of having eaten something that can barely be described as a burger and the knowing that this got you one step closer to being overweight a
  • First Times — The first time is often the best time. Sadly, you can only have one first of everything.
  • Kisses — A kiss lasts but a moment but we can wish it to last forever.
  • An Empty To-Do List — It’s always nice to have nothing to do anymore. Even if it is just for a day or two.
  • Sunsets/Sunrises — A beautiful, breath-taking sight to behold, but always gone in a flash. Thankfully they happen every day!
  • The Feeling of Utter Motivation — “Yeah! Let’s go! I can do it! YEAH!” *starts to work excitedly for 5 minutes before the motivation fades* “Hmm… why was I doing this again? Ah… right… dreams and stuff… meh…”
  • Opening Presents — Ripping off that beautiful packing paper, excitedly looking at what is underneath, for a mere moment of joy at finding out…
