A Moment I’ll Never Forget — The First Experience That Defined Me As A Life Coach

It was a very normal day.

I was writing an answer to some question when I got a message from a client: “Hey… can we talk?”

It was a spur of the moment decision, maybe due to that client never having asked that before or because I felt something was off, but I called them immediately.

“Hey X, What’s up?”

“Umm… This is a bit hard to say… I don’t know where to start.”

“No problem, just take your time and share what you want to share.”

It is then my client burst out in tears.

After a few minutes she caught herself and explained to me how depressed she was, how life did not seem worth it anymore, and how much she messed up her plan.

In that moment, everything was horrible and she could not see a way out.

Now, I do not know whether this was the right call for me to make or not, but, having gone through a very dark moment myself I wanted to pull her through so I went for it and started poking.

I took a deep breath and agreed with what she said.

“You are right. You did screw up. Your life is not what you want it to be. It is awful and it is your fault for
