A Small Tip That Can Help Get You Out Of A Big Funk
The most important part in coming out of anything negative is to do something.
Most people that suffer from depression do not get any real joy from their lives anymore because they cease to do anything at all.
They deem nothing as being worthy of their time, as they cannot see anything bringing them happiness, so they don’t even try.
With this, however, they run themselves into deeper and deeper spirals.
Without any actions there are no rewards, no achievements and no nuance or change. Life remains the same, which is a current negative spiral.
Negative thoughts pile up, and without the positives to counter them they will just keep increasing, making them even less likely to do something.
What matters in this stage is not what a person does, but that they do something.
In most cases they should trust in others more than themselves, as to what is good for them and not.
And then, even if they do not see any point to it, even if it feels like a waste of time, even if it is dumb, boring or difficult, if they can convince themselves to try it just because, then they will have taken the first step to change.
