  • Take The Situation Less Seriously — If you get too invested in any particular situation you’ll be too stressed to allow the creative side of you to come up with something witty to say. Not caring allows you to remain free.
  • Get Into The Habit Of Laughing At Yourself — In line with the above point, you want to be able to take yourself out of the situation. Learning to laugh at yourself is the best way to do this. Besides, it will create a lot more joy for others as you practice joking at your own expense.
  • Focus On What Matters — It’s often in getting straight to the point that you’ll come across witty remarks. Get “real” so to speak. (See Stand-Up Comedians)
  • Get Into The Habit Of Speaking Before You Think — A lot of the amazing wit we have is being blocked by our desire to be perceived well by others. Let it out. You’re wittier than you think you are.
  • Have Fun — Learn to laugh at your own jokes. Have fun with what you say and have a great time doing it. Remember that laughter is contagious!
  • Memorize Some Quotes — You don’t need to be witty yourself if you can directly use what others have said. It’s just about fitting it into the right situation.
  • Watch Comedians — Especially Improvisation, meaning when they deal with hecklers, bloopers…
