Another 13 Unconventional Ways To Stay Motivated

  1. Keep Doing Motivating Things — Don’t stop when you feel motivated once and keep doing what works for you!
    — Listen to motivating music while working.
    — Watch more motivational videos.
    — Get excited every chance you can get.
  2. Take A Break — It’s okay to take a break if you feel completely unmotivated. Just as long as you try again and don’t get lost in the break.
    — Come back to what you were doing often and give it an honest try every couple of minutes. You don’t have to stay with it long, but at least try.
  3. 3, 2, 1, Go — Don’t think. As soon as you think you lost. Just countdown and move. Put all your focus and attention on making your body move and ignore all the reasons, doubts and justifications.
  4. Keep Going When Your Motivation Falters — Motivation is only there to get you started. The longer you can keep going without thinking about quitting the longer you will keep the illusion that you are still motivated.
  5. Stay With The Unmotivated Feeling — Don’t run and hide from the reasons and stay with it for a bit. Find out a bit more about yourself so you can handle being unmotivated.
  6. LAUGH — Smile, laugh and be happy that you even get to be motivated in the first place! Feel good about what you have and you will feel more motivated.
