Be Who You Want To Be — 11 Steps To Becoming Your Own Hero

- Figure Out The Details — Who do you want to be? What are the characteristics, personality traits, thoughts, actions and what lifestyle do you want to lead?
- Add A Habit For Each — Each and every detail you mentioned above needs a daily habit that gets you closer to becoming that person. Bridge the gap between your real and ideal self with tiny, daily actions.
- Change The Self-Talk — Non-smokers do not worry about when their next cigarette might be, how long they’ve been smoke free or how hard it has been not to smoke. Change your Narrative and you change your actions, for it’s the thoughts that usually trigger them.
- Every Day — Work on it every, single day. No matter what. No exceptions. Every day you miss is a day you get further away from who you want to be, needing at least twice as many days to make up for the lost progress.
- Small Steps — The habits in #2 do not have to be long or difficult, in fact, they should be just slightly outside your comfort zone at most. Make small steps. If you follow #4 then even at 0.1% of a change you will be twice as good in 2 years and 38 times as good in 10.
