Beat The Cycle Of Procrastination & Get Into A State Of Flow Again
Have you ever felt that you cannot concentrate at all?
That, no matter how hard you try you cannot get into a groove or that the amount of time you can stay in any type of flow is extremely short.
If so it means you are currently stuck in a cycle of excusing your own procrastination, in which you are training yourself to give up! And worse than that, you are justifying that training to stay.
The cycle goes as follows:
You start to procrastinate, which leads you to be less prepared than you should be, which in turn leads to failure. After you fail you justify it by saying that you didn’t do enough and you could have done more but you just didn’t, causing you to disconnect from your failure. This leads to you not acknowledging the failure as such and therefore you have no reason to try harder the next time; leading you to procrastinate and start the cycle all over.
You can start to disrupt this cycle at any of the bolded points to prevent it from happening time and time again.
If you force yourself to work harder or become more disciplined or motivated you can likely counter the procrastination part.
If you spend more time on it you can counter not being prepared enough.
