Changing your life to be more like what you want is not an easy task.

It is hard work to create desirable, lasting changes, especially if you’ve not been changing your life at all recently.

Which is why you must allow yourself to recognize you’re wasting your life.

You must bring a level of acceptance into the picture first.

This means recognizing that you are not where you want to be, that you have not gotten up to do the things you want to do and, most importantly, that this hurts.

You have messed up.

Everything you could have had you do not because you did not do enough.

You are wasting your entire life away right now; this acceptance should feel terrible.

The best way to get out of apathy is with Anger.

Now, you could of course get angry at the world, and maybe that is enough for you to get a move on, but getting angry at yourself will take far more responsibility.

On the other hand, Inspiration can also be a large motivating force, but it is usually very dependent on having a good day and therefore not something that you can consistently feel.
