Love, Togetherness and Joy.

Those seem to be the tenets of Christmas.

It is a holiday designed for all the things we wish we had more of in life.

The world gets filled with “Christmas Spirit”, as many people start to become triggered to these feelings from the thousands of Christmas movies, songs and decorations they encounter throughout the day.

A connection was formed in their early childhood, of magic, wonder, and the joy of gifts, and it is that same magic, wonder and joy that is being triggered with every thing they associate with Christmas.

And as people find the magic, wonder and joy again, the world seems to be filled with a sense of the same.

To me this is an important holiday because it sets an example of what we could feel throughout the year.

The “Christmas Spirit” is not something that only shows up during these holidays, but something that we create.

It shows up in the same way that love shows up on Valentine’s Day, that we feel spooky during Halloween or thankful at Thanksgiving, but none of them are limited to their days.

We can remind ourselves that we can feel this magic and wonder every day by simply tapping into the already established magic…
