Create Positive Habits — The 5-Step Plan To Succeed In Creating Life-Changing Habits
Step 1: Plan
First of all you have to ask yourself what habits you even want to develop.
For this it’s most important that you look at where you want to end up and reverse-engineer it to the point where a habit comes into view.
What habit, if done daily, would get you to where you want to be? What is your limiting resource at this moment? What would be the greatest change to your life?
Step 2: Really Plan.
Now that you have the habit it is time to analyze and really plan.
What most people forget is that they have to sacrifice something in order to implement a new habit.
Your life is in a balance right now. Even though it may not be a good balance, it functions and works for a reason.
If you add something in the way of a new habit or remove something in the way of a negative habit, you might have to adjust for that.
What are you giving up when you add/remove this habit? What else does that affect? Where are you going to get what you will be missing from your life?
