Do Self-Help Books Really Work?: What You Need To Know When Getting Into Self-Improvement
Self-Help Books, like most Self-Improvement Content, is mainly designed to change lives, that is true.
However, due to the nature of what sells in the world, a lot of Self-Improvement Content is also designed to make the person feel good; Self-Help Books are no exception to that.
Now, this is not necessarily a bad thing.
If a Book makes you feel good then there is probably something to that!
However, the problem comes in with the point of the book and what people do with it.
Many people that consume Self-Improvement Content of any kind stop after the consume it.
They feel bad about their life, their path, or where or who they are and so they look for ways out of that.
But most don’t actually want to work for it, they just want to feel better.
It is because of this that many Self-Help Books and almost all Self-Improvement Content is taken very negatively by the world, as none of those are Quick Fixes.
