Fighting The Fear of Success: 7 Ways In Which You Can Start Embracing It Instead

  1. It’s Not About Deserving It — First of all, whether you do enough, deserve the success, or whether it is just given to you is not up to you. Success is fickle and not owed. When you get it, in whatever walk or area of life, accept it. Count your wins and appreciate what success you garner, whether or not you feel you deserve it.
  2. You Are Already Successful — Taking the first point, that means that you are likely already very successful in your life in some regards. Find what those are and you will train your brain to be on the lookout for success. ““If a man who cannot count finds a four-leaf clover, is he lucky?” — Stanislaw J. Lec
  3. Become A Person Of Success — You attract what you become. If you consider yourself unlucky, unsuccessful or not deserving, your mind will make sure of that for you. Confirmation Bias, Self-fulfilling Prophecies, and Cognitive Dissonance work both ways. Use them to become a person of success, one that feels successful and you will attract it more easily than you may think (although not quite as easily as the “Law of Attraction”).
  4. Do More — Gaining success is not so much about quality than it is about quantity. The more time you put in, no matter how well that time is spent or how hard you are working during that time, the more…
