Get Rid Of Procrastination By Changing Who You Think You Are
The single best thing that has helped me in getting rid of procrastination, distractions and to help boost my productivity tenfold was to change how I view myself!
When you change how you view yourself your entire world shifts. You start living your life according to this new image, which determines everything about you.
To explain this better let us take a look at an example.
Let’s take a smoker who decides to quit smoking.
This smoker will try to avoid this responsibility as much as he can, giving excuses for stressors, saying he needs to smoke to cope with what is going on.
He justifies his behavior similarly to how you might avoid the things you need to do.
Now… imagine there are two different smokers.
Both of them quit at the same time, and they have the exact same life (they are copies in every way), except they do one thing differently.
Smoker A, after having decided to quit smoking, goes around telling everyone he has been smoke free for x days.
Smoker B, on the other hand, doesn’t even tell people anymore, when he is asked about it he will say that he is a non-smoker and that he doesn’t smoke.
