Your parents are deathly ill.

They are in the hospital suffering from a serious, but unknown, illness.

This illness is so new and unique that your insurance found a way to weasel itself out of paying for any of the medical bills, leaving you with the various bills for tests and treatments.

The doctors did find some medication that seems to work, but they need to take it every day or their condition will worsen immediately.

Fortunately for you, your job exactly covers the medical expenses. You are not saving any money, but are not losing any either and are getting by just fine with these extra expenses.

The problem is that at your job your boss said they have to cut expenses so they will have to fire anyone that does not perform their best.

This marked the start of a competition for the jobs.

Imagine you got sick one of these days.

You develop a fever and a big headache.

It’s not enough so you cannot move, but plenty to give you a lot of discomfort.

Now, to the question:

Would you go to work?
