Here’s Why Most People Don’t Start A Business
Most people are smarter than to do such a thing!
Starting your own business is not the dream it’s made out to be.
It’s tough, exhausting and incredibly risky to start your own business.
Being your own boss, relying on just your own skills to get you anywhere, and having absolutely no security net are things most people cannot handle.
It’s a stressful life most people are smart enough to avoid!
The few of us that were stupid enough to start their own businesses often did so with absolutely no idea of what it would entail.
We had an idea, a concept, that we wanted to bring to the world and thought there would be takers everywhere.
We could not have been more wrong!
Starting a business is so much more work and so much harder than just getting a job.
Sure, the job market isn’t great, but once you have a job someone is paying for your time and as long as you do what you are told, you are often safe.
In a business, nothing is safe.
Your business can flourish one day and crash and burn the next.
It can be the best thing in the world when you do succeed, but when you fail and struggle no one looks at you with respect.
And when you are down on your luck, when everything is crumbling over your head, when you are ill, sick or alone, you still have to keep going.
You cannot simply call in sick, cannot avoid the work when you do not feel like it, and cannot wait for people to be ready for you; you have to do it all regardless of what is going on.
That is a stress that most people cannot bear, and it’s not something most people want to bear.
There is this idea that starting a business is easy, fun and free.
That people are giving you handouts everywhere like they do for the successful CEOs we see everywhere, but no one tells you is that it is a brutal battlefield.
We see all the successful CEOs everywhere in the world and only hear the highlights of their career.
We do not see their tears, do not feel their pain, and do not see the discomfort and fear they experience inside!
We only see the positives and think that that’s all there is to it.
We could not be more wrong!
Starting a business is not for the weak of heart, it’s not something that is easy to do and not something that most people are ready for.
And if you are one of the few that are crazy enough to do it anyway, then you better be prepared for the storm that is coming your way!
