Hoping Means You Still Believe In Yourself

Life is hard.

Sometimes we get hid by misfortune, the world seems to crumble around us and everything we do begins to fall apart.

It is not easy, fair or always happy.

Yet, even though so many of us fall on truly hard times, many also still keep going not knowing why.

Many would say they do not know why they keep struggling; they just keep going, slogging through the same crappy job, dealing with suffering, depression and stress, and trying just to live… but the truth is different.

Somewhere, deep down inside, perhaps completely unaware to them, their hope is still alive.

They still hope their life holds value, hope they can find meaning, purpose, passion, love and happiness, and they still have not given up on themselves.

Hope is what keeps us going when all the facts are against us.

It is a driving force derived from an illusion of our mind.

For when life really forces us to our knees there often is nothing that gives us any reason to hope.

But still, we do.

We see people walking around with smiles on their faces, see couples staring at each other longingly and see our friends and family celebrating life.
