How You Can Stop Taking Life So Seriously
There are few possibilities as to why you may take life so seriously.
The most likely one of them being that you forget what matters.
Every little thing you take seriously matters so much to you because you do not have anything else giving you a sense of support.
You have nothing more powerful to hold onto so you loose yourself in the tiny things, wanting to hold them close for if they go away you will be lost forever.
Without a purpose to it all, without a reason to live, what will hold you up?
It’s ironic, really, that because you take everything so seriously you show more desire to live than anybody else.
But it is also hard on you because you need to else you will fall into a void you dare not approach.
So you hold onto all of theses tiny things, be they bad or good, because they might be the one that gives you support, for any one of them could be the thing that defines your life.
When someone calls you names you take that seriously, for you have nothing bigger to hold onto, so you get lost in the details of the insults.
Is it really true that you are this insult? Is this what defines you?
