How To Become A Free Thinker
Very few of us are free in this world.
We may think we are, maybe we are even free in the greater scheme of things, but when it comes to being free of our own thoughts and prejudices, most of us fail.
Our thoughts contradict, complain and counter all the actions we want to take and words we want to speak.
We hold ourselves back out of fear of failure, fear of embarrassing ourselves, and the fear to lose what we have gained in life.
Ever since before we even went to school we were taught to behave certain ways, to say only certain things, and to act in certain ways that blocked who we were inside.
Over time this grew to pathways in our brains that stopped our thoughts before they even happened.
We put chains on ourselves bit by bit, until the moment where we did not even allow ourselves to think freely anymore.
You have likely experienced this yourself in many ways throughout your life.
You have had thoughts that were embarrassing, that you never wanted to admit to, or ones that you were ashamed to have.
You pushed away thoughts of grandeur, hid thoughts of your emotions, and tried your best to ignore the ideas that were not conform to the social norms.
