Many, many people feel like they wasted their time, especially when we compare ourselves to the people that succeed all over.

We get bombarded with Instagram success, are being told at how good someone has it on Twitter, and only see highlight-reels on Facebook.

In comparison to that, you wish you would have done more.

And, in all honesty, you know you could have.

You could have done more with your time, should have worked harder, not went on that date, ended the relationship sooner, studied more or practiced more.

It’s easy to say that you would have done things differently, or should have done things differently back then because now you know more.

We all have 20–20 hindsight vision.

But that doesn’t mean you knew any better back then.

Forgive yourself for that!

If you don’t you are basically saying that you wasted your entire life, because almost none of it matters now.

Besides, your future self will likely say the same thing to your current self and wish that the you, right now, would do more.

But… you don’t want to, do you?

You cannot change your past but you can change what you do now.
