Most successful people follow a rather similar routine, the details of which will vary greatly though.

The 4 most common things are:

  1. Waking up Early — Usually somewhere between 4–6 a.m. Waking up before most of the world is a great motivation boost before the day even starts. Just to name a few:
Tim Cook & Dwayne Johnson: Before 4:00 a.m.
    Indra Nooyi: 4:00 a.m.
    Jack Dorsey: 5:30 a.m.
    Richard Branson: 5:30 a.m.
    Gary Vaynerchuck: 6:00 a.m.
    Oprah Winfrey: 6:00 a.m.
  2. Writing down or Visualizing their Dreams/Goals — Reaffirming why they do what they do by either writing it down or looking at their vision board. This increases motivation, drive and purpose straight away.
In the Book “Think and Grow Rich” By Napoleon Hill this was elaborated on greatly and Tony Robbins is a big advocate as well.
  3. Wake-up Ritual — Either a cold shower, a jog outside, a hard workout, or splashes of ice water in their face. This is something that gets their blood pumping so they are ready for the day. Most of them have some form of physical exercise in the morning.
For this you can simply look at any successful person. From Bill Gates to Dwayne Johnson, to even Elon Musk who hates exercising, most of them will exercise early!
