How to Define Success and Find Your Passion
Most people look for some grand, overarching idea of success.
Villas, Mansions, Yachts, Prizes, Achievements, Legacies, Legends, Everlasting Happiness, Power, Influence, the whole shabang.
And while it’s not bad to have an overarching idea, it will likely never fulfill you.
Success is not something that lasts, nor is it something that, once obtained, will make the whole journey feel worthwhile.
There is no such thing as permanent success.
The problem with success is that it is subjective.
Because of this there are certain times where you feel that success means owning a yacht with two swimming pools, and other times it means rekindling that lost spark in your relationship.
As you then change your ideas of success will change as well, and that yacht may not be nearly as important as the connections you have with your children, or the spark and passion will be replaced with trust and love.
The thing is: You never know what you may find brings you those feelings of success.
Which means the only way to succeed is to keep adapting your idea of success as you enjoy the process along the way.
