How To Escape Boredom And Feel Alive Again
Invest into something.
Pick something at random, be it a hobby, activity, or a relationship and invest as much of your time and energy into it for the next 30 days.
Spend every free minute you have thinking about it, improving on it or growing in what you pick.
Let’s say, for example, you want to become a better writer.
Then for the next 30 days challenge yourself to write as much as possible.
Read whenever you get the chance, write as many words as you possibly can, commit yourself to learning writing tips online and engage, talk and discuss with other writers.
Let your whole life revolve around that single activity for the next 30 days. Become truly obsessed.
A large part of the reason boredom shows up in our lives is because we do too little.
We don’t challenge ourselves, do not take any risks and choose fear over inspiration and courage as often as possible, resulting in lesser lived experiences that, when added up, make life seem incredibly dull in hindsight.
That is why I challenge you to do the opposite, just for 30 days.
