How To Get The Most Out Of Every Day

On quite a few days we end up regretting the small decisions we make.

We make some bad choices here and there and it just adds up, and, most of the time, we do not realize it before it’s too late.

All because we keep going after the lowest value items on our lists, such as watching TV or playing video games simply because they are enticing, low effort, or give us that instant gratification.

This pattern, however, causes us incredibly amounts of unhappiness over time.

It may be great in the short-term, but in the long-term it is always met with regret and disappointment.

The best hack I have learned is a hack to get the most out of every day, and it’s incredibly simple in it’s theory:

  1. Write down your priorities — What is the most important thing in your life? What about the second most important thing? Etc. Make sure these are YOURS and not the ones you should have as priorities but what you really value. Maybe video games or watching Game of Thrones is high in your priority list… That’s fine! Just be honest.
  2. Add a time value to it — How much time would you ideally spend on this each day? Remember, the day has only 24 hours, so fit your priorities into that schematic. (Some, few, things need to be planned on a weekly rather than
