How To Heal A Broken Life — Getting Back From Loss & Pain

Sometimes “Life sucks” does not even begin to describe what we feel.

It’s unfair, it’s horrible, we loose so much more than we ever thought we could and we feel at the end of our ropes.

There’s no upside anymore, no light at the end of the tunnel, and we have no idea what to do.

It’s a nightmarish, pitch-black abyss.

In those moments the pain can become so unbearable that you look for advice.

But wherever you turn you’re told the same things:

“It will be okay.”

“It is not that bad.”

“Life goes on.”

“Just try to be happy.”

And all we can think of is: What if that’s not true?

What if it won’t be okay? Why does it then feel this horrible then? What if life does not move on? And what if I cannot be happy anymore?

It is these advices, and these thoughts, the terrible feelings we harbor inside and the pain of loosing so much that we wish to avoid at all costs.

We run and run and run, but that only makes it worse.
