The best way to be smart is to think “outside the box”, which basically means nothing more than looking at the problem from a different angle.

If you want to achieve a six-pack, for example, you must think about it in terms of what a life looks like of a person that already has a six-pack.

Look at the problem from the angle of the solution.

How often does that person go to the gym? How often do they eat candy? What attitude do they have towards life? Do they worry about their food? Do they watch a lot of movies? Etc.

People have already done what you want to do, at least to a certain extent; you do not have to re-invent the wheel!

You can simply copy their process for however long it works for you!

So, the first thing to creating an intelligent plan is to look at people that have already achieved the goal or a similar goal.

It will not end up being the exact same path, but it will be very similar.

The next step is then to copy whatever they have to offer and adjust your plan as you go along!

Copy every little thing.

You have to understand that difficult goals are difficult for a reason, and there is not one magic red button that you can press that will make you instantly reach that goal.

It’s the little things done consistently that will make the difference in the end, so take whatever little things you can from them!

Set up Habits that you track daily that all help you on the journey towards the goal.

If you want that six-pack then don’t just copy their workout routine. Copy the food they eat, the activities they do, their mentality and everything else you can.

Keep reflecting on what you are doing and keep making it easier on yourself.

And that’s pretty much it.

As long as you copy what others have done and do those things consistently you will very easily reach any goal you aim for.

The only sidenote here is to keep adjusting their path to fit you.

You may not be a morning person like they are, may not be that financially secure or may not live in the same place, so you have to adjust.

You will have other benefits they did not have and will have different skills and characteristics that will get you to the goal in the same time but from a different angle.

It really doesn’t have to be that hard, all you need to do is keep going!
