How To Motivate Yourself To Learn Something New After A Hard Day At Work

Screw it!

Why does it matter how hard your day was or how motivated you are?

If it makes sense to you, if this skill is something you want to learn or something that propels your life forward then just do it!

Screw how you feel or how motivated you are! Screw it! Let’s go!

Many people want their life to be an easy ride.

They want to feel good 24/7, have no problems, learn fast, and basically just hit the big, fat ‘ easy’ button.

But that’s not how life works.

You have bad days, there are problems, you will not always learn fast, and there is not always an easy way to do things.

If you want something you have to do it regardless of how you feel sometimes.

Relying on your motivation or on having energy is just a glorified excuse.

It doesn’t matter when you have to take your kids to school, doesn’t matter when your partner is in the hospital, and doesn’t matter when you get up at dawn to go on vacation.

It only matters when it benefits you! Which is an excuse.

You’re not always going to be motivated to improve a skill. So what?

You’re not always going to like the work and it won’t always be easy. But so what?

You have a reason to do this. It benefits your life, it is a good idea and you’ll thank yourself later!

So just screw it and do it!

Don’t let your lack of motivation keep you from reaching a great life.
