How to Move Forward When Your Plans Have Not Worked Out

  1. Abandon All Plans — Right now they are only stressing you out. Plans change, you change, and, in the end, you will get something different anyway. Just focus on living, not living according to something or for something.
  2. Do What You Want — Do this with utter disregard to whether or not it is possible or good for you. Money, Fame, Success, Approval, and everything else aside, what do you want? Do this as often as you possibly can. Every free minute, every break, every possible moment. Fill it with something you enjoy.
    - Specifically, what do you want to have right now. Imagine you found a magic lamp with a Genie that could fulfill whatever you wished for. However, that genie would only give you EXACTLY what you asked for, nothing more, nothing less. What would you wish for? Be specific.
  3. Write It Down — Put it all on paper. Do not just think about it, trust me, it will not be good enough. Grab a sheet of paper, lined, and write “I want” at the beginning of each line all the way down the page; front and back. Then start writing and DO NOT put the pen/pencil down even for a second until you are done. This is your baseline and your go-to if you do not know what to do.
    - These things can be as simple or as grand as you want them to be. Ex: “I want the 15 Million Dollar Yacht. I want to get a haircut. I want to have my dream job
