I Suck At Being Self-Disciplined: Confessions Of A Life Coach

I do my due diligence with my writing and my exercise. I still get on every single call, still interact with my clients every day and work at least 4 hours a day every day of the week.

This might seem like a lot to some, but to me it’s still very little!

In a 16 hour day that means I use about 25% of my time truly effectively.

Honestly, nothing really unusual. Most people only use about 3 hours in an 8 hour work day truly effectively.

But I don’t like that.

I want to demand more of myself!

Not in the way that I make every waking minute of my life about productivity, but that I feel I truly live every minute of my life.

For that I must be self-aware enough to invest into the moment rather than being sucked into random things like most people.

I want to play video games because I truly enjoy them, want to truly feel exhausted and refreshed and the wind on my face when I go for a run, and I truly want to work hard and concentrate when I work.

For this I must learn to be more self-controlled.

This world simply does not function in such a way in that we can be present all the time.
