Letting Go — The Best Way To Find A New Reason To Live

If you are lacking a will to live the first thing to do is to seek professional help.

While this is not effective for everyone, getting therapy does help the vast majority of people get a better outlook on life. And yes, you are likely in that vast majority.

You may feel like your problems are special or unique, like no one could be able to understand how you feel, and therefore help you, but you are not that special in your misery.

You will exhibit certain patterns, lines of thinking and certain triggered emotions that, while unique in their constellation, will be something a therapist will likely have encountered at some point.

Do not downplay the impact this can have, especially if you have nothing else to lose but everything to gain.

That being said, one of the best things you can do outside of getting professional help is to let go.

Let go of the things you feel you should do, that are expected of you, or that you conditioned yourself to do.

You are at the end of your rope, so just let go.

What this means is that you let go of everything that makes you feel worse so that you open yourself up to a more positive approach: The freedom to do anything.
