Life Is Unfair: We Are Not Owed Anything
Life is so unfair because it does not owe us anything.
We believe to be the main character of life, for, from our point of view, we are.
But life does not agree with that.
In terms of life overall, we are nothing more than a side character.
We are a drop in an ocean.
Nothing owes this drop anything, much like you do not owe anything to the ants passing by, or life owing us anything.
We are not that special.
Life just happens.
It is what it is, and it is not fair or unfair, good or bad, but just is.
But it is up to us to view this life as a curse or a gift.
For it is our point of view that changes what we think of life.
We can look at all the unfair things that happened to us, can look at all the unfair things happening in the world right now, and we will find a lot.
But we can also look at the things that are fair and good that are happening at the same time all over the world.
We can look at the people falling in love, the people that hold their kids for the first time, or the kids that play outside with their friends.
