Motivationless: Why You’re Not Motivated To Do Anything
You are not motivated because your life serves no purpose.
That may sound really harsh, but it’s the most direct truth.
Right now, you are existing, not living.
There is nothing you are living for, no purpose, and you have no reason to be alive, but you also have no reason to end your life.
So you are just staying with the life you have, watching the days go by, uninterested in everything.
You get by, of course, but that’s already a lot of work… and god forbid you have to do more.
You might think right now “But I am interested in some things”, and you would be right in that, but that simply doesn’t cut it.
Every time you get interested in something you may dabble in it for a little while, but logic or fear will have you stopping soon enough.
If you were really motivated or interested in something, you would make it happen.
You get food, or find a restaurant to eat at, when you are hungry enough to make a choice.
The motivation to fill your stomach or eat a certain kind of food makes you take the corresponding action.
That is motivation.
