If you are happy being quiet then there is no need to change anything.

Being non-sociable is not a crime or something you need to feel ashamed for.

Some people simply do better on their own or are not interested in small talk.

That being said, if you still want to get to know people there are a few things you can do that will bring you more freedom in conversations.

Most of the time, when someone is uninterested in talking to people it is due to the fakeness of the conversations or the people across from them.

They do not feel real, meaningful or honest.

And while you cannot change the person across from you, what you can do is give yourself more freedom to be real, meaningful and honest in your conversations, enabling others to do the same.

These tips will help you break some of those chains and get you to feel more desire to talk to people when you try them out:

  1. Be Honest — Even though it may sound like a bad idea at first, when you are honest with yourself you find a lot more power in conversations. People will like you for you, not for what you pretend to be. This does not mean you have to be so direct it’s aggressive or share all your deepest secrets with them.
