Peace of Mind: Gaining True Inner Peace Through Action
You might be tired, you might be a little nervous or tense, but in this very moment in time, in this microsecond, everything is okay.
As you close your eyes the world disappears in front of you and everything becomes dark.
But it’s not a darkness that is scary or dangerous; it’s just darkness.
Who knows what will happen when you finally open your eyes? Who knows what that moment may hold? But just for now, as your eyes close between each moment, everything is okay.
It’s these little, tiny moments that allow you to see that the only time your mind is not at peace is when it is trying to hold onto too much.
When your mind tries to fix all the problems in your life at once, without even being in a situation to do so, that is when life gets messy and complicated.
If we were to just take it one moment at a time, one action at a time, one breath at a time, things would not be so complicated.
Alright, so that’s obviously a nice thought, but also a thought that very few will be able to put into practice, especially not when life appears to be just one big horrible mess.
